In a spirit of bayanihan and compassion, the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) and the DDB-Employees Union donated cash and goods to victims of super typhoon Yolanda. The donation will be coursed through the Department of Social Welfare and Development in accordance with the instruction of the President.

Super Typhoon Haiyan, known in the Philippines as Super Typhoon Yolanda —is one of the strongest storms that ever hit the country. Heavy rainfall and floods caused thousands of people in the province of Tacloban, Leyte and nearby areas to perish and die. Yolanda had an estimated maximum sustained winds of 195 mph with gusty winds above 220 mph.
