Two (2) elementary schools in Tanay Rizal participated in the launching of the Campus Tour for Kids organized by the Dangerous Drugs Board and the Department of Education to educate the students on the eight (8) different ways to say NO to drugs.
Last October 14, 2014, 100 pupils of the said schools actively participated on the launching. Principals of both schools expressed their gratitude for making the event possible.
Ms. Lianne Angelica M. Kalacas, Information Officer of DDB, talked about the 8 different ways to Say No To Drugs. She even facilitated a discussion together with games which students enjoyed especially when they received a prize.
Mr. Diosdado A. Baquiran, designated Municipal Population Officer, Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) of Tanay gave his inspirational message and congratulated the pupils for taking a part in the tour. He also thanked the DDB for being supportive of his drug advocacy programs.
Highlight of the event was a dance presentation of Kid Listo- DDB Mascot. Students were also given a chance to interact with the mascot and dance together with him.
