The Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) sent Public Relation Officer Jessie Tolentino to attend the Reputation Management Seminar which was conducted by Guthrie-Jensen Consultants Inc., a CSC certified training provider.
Tolentino’s participation in the seminar is part of the leveling up of employee competencies as required by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) and in conformity with ISO standards.
Ms. Connie Udani, Training Specialist, Guthrie-Jensen, handled the three-day seminar and mini-workshop and discussed the different Phases of Reputation Management.
She showed an example of a typical design of a crisis management plan which is useful for companies or organizations experiencing such problems. According to her, the crisis management plan will help the agency to easily cope with its problems, should some kind of crisis occur.
Ms. Udani also explained the power of social media and how it can build or destroy the reputation of a public or private agency. She urged the participants to be factual and consistent in disseminating information to social media. She also talked about the importance of forming a crisis management team who will be mainly responsible for the safety and security of the organization.
Other participant-agencies include: Philippine Dealing System, Manila Water Company and Alaska Corporation.
The seminar was held at Makati Diamond Residences, Legaspi St., Makati City on July 14-16, 2015.
